PEG Presentation & Dinner for the members and their spouses on May 1st, 2011

Pakistan Executive Group organized a presentation followed by dinner on May 1st 2011 which was largely attended by our members and their spouses to hear the Guest Speaker Dr. Basmah M. Omair, Executive Director of AlSayeda Khadija Bint Khowailid Business women Center at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jeddah. Dr Omair restructured the business women center to become the first lobbying center that focuses on legislation reform aiming at removing the obstacles facing women in order to truly empower them both economically and socially.

Dr Basmah is daughter of a Saudi Diplomat to USA and she was raised and educated in US for more than 23 years. This allowed her a better understanding of both cultures and the ability to take the best of both the worlds. She did her BS in Business Administration & Marketing 1993, MS in Special Education 1997 and PhD in Education Technology/Management and Leadership 2004 from American University, Washington DC.

Dr. Basmah was a Consultant for American University in Washington DC and a Corporate Social Responsibility consultant to the Savola Group in Saudi Group. Dr. Basmah Omair is a Board member at the Social Economic Circle in Makkah Region and a member of the Young Arab Leaders. She is recently elected as deputy chair for the labor committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
